Draw Half Circle in Solidowrks
With these instructions, I am going to guide you through the steps to make some basic shapes in the three dimensional CAD software SolidWorks. The first shape is a Cube; and so I will go through how to make a Sphere, and volition finish with a Pyramid.
Cube 
i. Create a new part
a. Click the New button, or select File, New from the main menu.
b. Click the Part template from the Templates tab, and then clickOK.
2. Open a new sketch
a. Open a new sketch by clicking the Sketch icon. Select a Plane (any airplane will work).
3. Ready to sketch
a. Click the Corner Rectangle tool icon and sketch a foursquare on the selected aeroplane (the size does not matter).
b. Add dimensions to the sketch by selecting Dimensions, Smart.
c. Click on i of the horizontal lines of the foursquare sketch; input the size you wish to make your cube (east.g. 1", ane', 10'…).
d. Repeat steps iii.b and 3.c for the vertical line making sure to apply the same dimension used for the horizontal line.
4. Gear up to extrude
a. Click Insert, Bose/Base, Extrude or the Extrude icon on the Features toolbar.
b. On the left side of the screen there volition be the belongings manager; set the End Condition to Bullheaded, and the Depth (D1) to the aforementioned dimension as the horizontal and vertical lines.
c. Click the OK (check mark) button in the top of the holding manager screen.
5. Salvage your cube
a. Click the Save icon, or select File, Relieve. Proper noun the function Cube (or anything you want), and click OK.

Sphere 
1. Create a new part
a. Click the New button, or select File, New from the main card.
b. Click the Office template from the Templates tab, and then clickOK.
ii. Open a new sketch
a. Open up a new sketch by clicking the Sketch icon. Select a Plane (any plane volition work).
iii. Ready to sketch
a. Click the Circle tool icon and sketch a circumvolve on the selected plane (the size does not affair).
b. Add dimensions to the sketch past selecting Dimensions, Smart.
c. Click on circle sketch; input the size you wish to make your sphere (e.g. i", one', x'…).
d. Select the Line tool icon and click on the acme centre point of your circle sketch; drag your line vertically to the opposite side of the circle (bottom center).
eastward. Select the Tools menu, then select Sketch Tools, Trim.
f. Click and hold the left mouse button; elevate the cursor through half of the circumvolve parallel to the vertical line (This will create a one-half circle).
4. Ready to extrude
a. Click Bose/Base, Revolve from the Insert menu, or the Circumduct icon on the Features toolbar.
b. Select the vertical line for the Axis of Revolution in the property manager; and then set the Direction1 to Blind, and the Angle (A1) to 360.00deg.
c. Click the OK (check marking) push button in the tiptop of the property managing director screen.
v. Save your sphere
a. Click the Save icon, or select File, Relieve. Name the part Sphere (or anything you want), and click OK.

Pyramid 
1. Create a new part
c. Click the New button, or select File, New from the main menu.
d. Click the Part template from the Templates tab, and then clickOK.
2. Open a new sketch
b. Open a new sketch by clicking the Sketch icon. Select a Plane (whatever plane will work).
3. Ready to sketch
e. Click the Corner Rectangle tool icon and sketch a square on the selected aeroplane (the size does not thing).
f. Add dimensions to the sketch by selecting Dimensions, Smart.
g. Click on one of the horizontal lines of the square sketch; input the size you wish to make your cube (e.g. 1", i', 10'…).
h. Repeat steps iii.b and 3.c for the vertical line making certain to utilize the aforementioned dimension used for the horizontal line.
iv. Ready to extrude
d. Click Insert, Bose/Base of operations, Extrude or the Extrude icon on the Features toolbar.
eastward. On the left side of the screen there will exist the property managing director; set up the Finish Condition to Blind, and the Depth (D1) to the same dimension as the horizontal and vertical lines. Click the Draft icon and change the angle until all four corners come to a signal (the Draft outward check box should be cleared).
f. Click the OK (check mark) button in the top of the property manager screen.
5. Save your pyramid
a. Click the Save icon, or select File, Salvage. Name the office Pyramid (or anything you desire), and click OK.
